Alan Morales
Vice President of Client Services

Alan is the Vice President of Client Services. He has over 18 years of healthcare expertise with a strong background in billing processing & reimbursement, insurance, and hospital administrative settings. His insight is invaluable in assisting practices with improving the quality of care, enriching practice performance, aligning investment strategies, and achieving business goals.

Alan has been part of the Periop family since 2002. Through Alan’s vision, he successfully leads a strong team of in-house experts dedicated to the mission of helping our clients’ practices thrive.

Christina McKendry
Revenue Cycle Client Manager

Christina McKendry is the Revenue Cycle Client Manager for Medusind. With over 25 years specializing in revenue cycle management, Tina is a seasoned veteran in the specialty of radiation oncology. She began her career at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. During her two-decade tenure there, she worked her way through all aspects of the revenue cycle management functions earning progressive departmental leadership titles.

Incidentally, since this department served a headquarters for radiation oncology treatments, Tina also had the privilege of working with numerous acclaimed radiation oncologists that practiced as either residents, fellows, attending physicians or visiting professors.  Tina is passionate about the revenue integrity of her clients. Her longtime experience with RCM within physician, hospital and university settings proves to be advantageous to her clients. With her amicable interpersonal skills, organizational acumen, and agile problem-solving abilities, Tina effectively engages directly and maintains strong working relationships with physicians, healthcare executives, supervisors and peers alike to address revenue cycle related challenges; provides feedback on opportunities to improve documentation, data quality with confident compliance to optimize reimbursement while surpassing established benchmarks.

To support industry education specific to radiation oncology, Tina attends the ASTRO and SROA annual conferences along with consistent networking with colleagues and peers throughout the year. Tina has volunteered her organizational, registration and management skills in assisting with the national annual meetings for SROA. As a photography enthusiast, Tina provided an invaluable archival history for the annual meetings from 1984-1995. Additionally, Tina’s educational degree in Business Administration along with her experience as an Instructor of Medical Billing and Coding provides even more depth to her already dynamic background.

Korina Brooks, ROCC
Operations Manager

Korina Brooks is the Operations Manager for Medusind. Korina came to Medusind with 25 years of medical practice and revenue cycle management experience with large multidisciplinary groups.   Korina also served as the Director of Development for a cutting edge biobank in Bethesda, Maryland and had the honor of working with the Assistant Surgeon General and Acting Assistant Secretary for Health during the Reagan Administration.

Korina has a rich history of successful implementation and integration of electronic medical records and electronic revenue cycle management systems. This progressive electronic integration has lead to Korina successfully reporting MACRA/MIPS measures for physician practices and increased revenue time and time again.

Successful collaboration is proven by solid interpersonal skills with physicians, healthcare executives and all levels of healthcare teams. Korina’s strategic thinking process and genuine belief in quality services rendered and documented has lead to physicians improved documentation and compliance.

Korina has a solid history of improving workflows, leading successful teams and surpassing revenue benchmarks. Korina’s genuine respect in the sacred/doctor-patient relationship has cultivated compliant, lucrative returns in the services that medical professionals render. Korina has a strategic results-driven drive that leads to this success.

To cultivate continual learning, Korina networks with ASTRO, SROA, and AMAC. Korina received her ROCC® certification in 2017.  She is also a Certified Medical Office Manager through the Practice Management Institute.
